Four-Time World Boxing Champion, Fitness & Wellness Expert, Beauty Brand Ambassador and Mom

Laila Ali is a world-class athlete, fitness & wellness expert, cooking enthusiast, founder of the Laila Ali Lifestyle Brand and mother of two toddler-aged children. The daughter of the legendary Muhammad Ali, Laila is also a four-time undefeated world boxing champion, whose stellar record includes 24 wins (21 of which were “knockouts”) and zero losses.

In addition to her latest work as a cast member of NBC’s highly touted reality program “Stars Earn Stripes,” Laila is currently the host of “Everyday Health” airing nationwide on ABC. She is a former contributing correspondent for CBS’ “The Early Show” and was co-host of “American Gladiators.” Laila also authored and published a motivational book for young women titled “Reach!” (Hyperion, 2003). She has appeared in various cooking segments on the Food Network’s “Emeril” and “Rachael Ray,” with recipes geared towards a healthy, active lifestyle. In 2007 she captured the hearts of millions and made it to the final round of the fourth season of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.”

Never one to turn down a good challenge, and always eager to encourage others to live an active lifestyle, Laila Ali was the 2012 “Mombassador” for the Aquaphor New York City Triathlon, a competition she completed in an impressive 3 hours and 6 minutes.

A recognizable and trusted figure whose name and likeness packs a powerful punch, Laila has been an endorser for major brands such Subway and Kohl’s.

Carefully building a successful branding and licensing empire, (a former owner and operator of a successful nail salon in southern California) Laila recently launched her own signature line of beauty and personal care products.

In late 2012 consumers will find her custom line of fresh salsas, salad dressings, seasonings and marinades on store shelves everywhere. Also rolling out in 2012 is a line of styling tools Laila is creating with haircare powerhouse, Helen Of Troy.

Laila Ali was born in Miami, Florida. She graduated from Santa Monica College with a degree in business management. She and her husband, former NFL star Curtis Conway, live in Los Angeles, with their 4-year old son, Curtis Jr., and 1-year old daughter Sydney.

Derek Kennard

Derek went to Edison High School in Stockton, California.  He’s in the Stockton Athletic Hall of Fame & African American Hall of Fame. He was an All-American at The University of Nevada and is a member of the All Century team. He played 2 years in the USFL for the LA Express.  He was a 2nd round draft pick in 1984 and played for the St Louis Cardinals, New Orleans Saints, and Dallas Cowboys.  Derek has spent the past 10 years in Education as a Counselor.  He has 3 adult children and 2 grandchildren.
